I’ve been shattered and devastated. It’s really affecting me mentally and emotionally as I’ve gone through series of abortions for him.

Dear Bukky,

I’ve been going through some emotional drama for the past months and I’m close to ending my own life.

We dated for four years but he broke up with me in July with the claims that his pastor said we are not compatible.

I’ve gone through series of abortions for him, and aside that I love him with all my heart. He actually deflowered me.

I’ve been shattered and devastated. It’s really affecting me mentally and emotionally.

I need help. I’m not in love with anyone else. I love him too much and sacrificed too much for him, you know what I mean by that.

It’s a very long story. Right now, I’ve even been begging him  to come back as it is really hard to live without him.

I’m trying to  move on. How do I move on and forget him fast if that’s the solution?

I’m in my final year too, I’m afraid I won’t concentrate when school resumes.

I need help, I’m dying. Please post and help.

Dear Reader,

I feel really sorry for what you are going through I can only imagine how hurt you must be.

About the suicidal thoughts, please you can’t afford to let that grow beyond that little seed in your heart. Please snuff it out.

Taking your own life is not an answer to anything. You need to give yourself the chance to experience the beauty of life and love again.

I admit it might take time, but you just have to hold on and let time take its healing course. You deserve that chance.

You can accelerate the process by ceasing contact with him. I think it’s time to stop begging him to come back. Just let him go.

When someone is bent on leaving you, any reason will be enough, no matter what it is.

Out of sight will eventually be out of mind. Give yourself the opportunity to heal without interference.

Also create around you a circle of support. Even if it’s just one trusted person, you need to get someone to talk to, someone with your good interests at heart.

Talking helps. It heals and helps you get rid of negativity in a therapeutic way that’ll surprise you.

Again, suicide is not the way to go. There’s still happiness available in this life and you can have that when you stay alive.

I wish you happiness, love and a pocketful of sunshine.
