‘Champions League Title Is HUGE To Manchester United’- Herrera
Manchester United midfielder, Ander Herrera, has revealed that the Champions League title is ‘enourmous’ to the Red Devils.
Herrera said this ahead of their UEFA Champions League (UCL) second leg round of 16 clash against Sevilla at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old believes United can still have a massive season by winning the UCL glory and the FA Cup, despite sitting 13 points adrift of Manchester City in the Premier League table.
“I don’t think about City, just about us. To win the Champions League would be enormous for us. Massive,” Herrera told Daily Mail.
“So if you said City wins the title and we win the Champions League this time I would sign that document right now. People forget that it’s still possible for us to win two big titles this season – the Champions League and FA Cup. We are still in the race for both. It could be an adventure to do it.”
Herrera could be involved when United host Sevilla today for the second leg of their last-16 tie, after a goalless first leg draw in Spain.
