Brazilian football legend, Pele has joined the rest of the world to applaud Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, on his best FIFA men’s player award.

Ronaldo took home the coveted award for the second year, after edging Neymar and Lionel Messi at the ceremony in London.


Pele took to his twitter account to congratulate the Real Madrid star.

“Ronaldo you are changing football’s history books, Congratulation!”

In the year under review, Ronaldo led the Blancos to a La Liga and Champions League double, including two goals in the Champions League final against Juventus.
