Olamide Adedeji fondly called Olamide Baddo was born on 15 March 1989, in an area known as Bariga, in Lagos State. He is an Indigenous Rapper, whose most of his lyrics are recorded in his mother tongue ‘Yoruba’.

He had his Tertiary Institution in Tai Solarin after which he dropped out to pursue his passion.

In 2010, he brought out his first song known as ‘Eni Duro’.

The song got massive reception and brought him to the limelight as an indigenous rapper.

In 2011, he came out with his first album Rapsodi under ID Cabasa Coded Tunes.

In 2012, he released his second album under his own music label Yahoo Boys No Laptop (YBNL).

The album had several hit tracks that were released by him such as Stupid Love, First Of All and Ilefo Illuminati.

His third studio album known as ‘Baddest Guy Ever Liveth’ was released on November 7, 2013.

This album comprises hit singles such as ‘Yemi My Lover’ and “Durosoke”.

He has been nominated and also won numerous music awards, such as the Headies Awards and Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

On July 7, 2013, Olamide benefitted from his hard work when he bagged an endorsement deal with Ciroc.

The next year October 24, 2013, he became Guinness Ambassador.

In November 2013, Etisalat endorsed him alongside fellow rapper Ice Prince.

He has released seven music studio albums on his own and one compilation album he did with Phyno2 Kings

The song ‘Science Student’ is composed from the material of the popular dance that is trending known as ‘Shaku Shaku’ and it encompasses an elusive message to Nigerian youths who involved themselves to activities that are relating to drugs.

The song was released on January 11, 2018.

Baddo is hardly a moralist but on this song ‘Science Student’, he threw out some questions to drugs abusers and wrongdoers of other illegal things in the society.

The lyrics indicate his moral stand against juvenile delinquency that’s being displayed among youths.

The song was the 15th track to Olamide’s YBNL album, which later came out on November 12, 2012.

It was another certified hit from Baddo himself featuring Davido.

The video was shot in Miami Florida.

Olamide and Davido took the African culture to another level in a faraway country like America.

The song was produced by Pheelz and was recorded in November 2014.

The song wasn’t popular until Baddo saw the need to shoot the video for the song in order to have a song that he can perform in a corporate event.

Olamide released the song ‘Melo Melo’ from his studio album Eyan Mayweather.
